Honey light with tree

February 2004, Mayflower Lake, Arkansas. From the photo journal:  Each photo has its own particular cost.  I paid for these in muddied shoes, spattered pants, and briars stuck on my shirt sleeves--after crossing four lanes of Interstate traffic.   I almost stepped into the lake, thinking a floating vegetative mat was solid. One toe in, said "Not."  Then I found out, three hours into work, that my sweater vest was on inside out.
 
Oh, the joys of chasing wonder.
