Chairs

2004.03.12, Pentax 330GS, ƒ5.5, 1/400 sec, 7.8 mm

I was driving home from University Arts on Meridian and had just passed the Rosicrucian on Park Avenue at Hedding, when I caught site of Antonella's parking lot, kitty-corner to the museum. It had what must have been 50 or so chairs assembled closely together, filling a quarter of the lot in a random pattern. I turned my truck around at the next street and swung into the lot, parked and got out with my little 330 GS and started shooting. I could hear a power washer inside the restaurant - they were cleaning the floors. The owner came out and asked if he could help me. I told him I was taking pictures of his chairs, that they looked pretty cool grouped his way. He
asked me if I wanted to buy them... I said nope. I got in my truck and took off. What would I do with that many chairs?
