Trogon in Monteverde Cloud Forest, Costa Rica

We were having lunch at the ranger station of Costa Rica's Monteverde Cloud Forest of when this trogon landed in a tree not 20 feet away. I walked up very slowly and took this shot from no more than 8 feet. I was delighted by the detail in the photo--almost every individual feather can be seen. Photo opportunities like this don't come along very often.
