I took this in the Solomon Islands last March. The anemonefish are immune to the stings of the anemone, and they live inside it for protection. However, when an anemone catches food, it curls up into something like a pumpkin to eat its dinner. At that point the anemonefish have nowhere to go so they hover nearby waiting for the anemone to reopen. It's a great time to catch these utterly harmless fish acting defensive, aggressive and really rather silly. As a photograph, I liked the contrast between the orange fish, the purple tentacles of the anemone, and also the brown pattern on the underside of the anemone, which you normally don't see.
