Fun with Polarization
dsc_8901.jpg

This was just an experiment but I thought it interesting enough to include among my submissions. Sunlight reflected off of glass is highly polarized, so I took two identical pictures of the corner of my office building, where the only difference was that I rotated my polarizing filter by 90 degrees in between. Then I went into Photoshop and, in a slight violation of the rules, I combined the red channel from one picture with the blue and green channels from the other. So the bright colors you see here are purely the result of polarization.
