Water play
dsc_0241.jpg

It was a hot afternoon and kids were playing in the fountains in front of the Bundeshaus, the Swiss equivalent of the US Capitol Building. I loved the expression on this little boy's face and the way the water droplets sparkled in the sun. By the way, I did some minimal color correction but the colors you can see in the water droplets are real, presumably the result of refraction. For this trip the longest telephoto I brought was 135 mm; next time I'll not worry so much about traveling light because I was really wishing I had more magnification. This photo has been heavily cropped.
