Photo Challenge: Loud | I live only a few blocks from the tracks, so I looked up the train schedule online to find one that would be heading ‘north’, which is actually west near my house, in the evening near sunset, so I could get nice lighting. I took a long series of shots as it approached me down the tracks, and although some of the ones from further away had a nicer depth of field, I chose this one because after scaling it down for the web, the train would still be recognizable. Of course, with my luck, this particular train happened to be heading up the tracks going backwards, so in the photo it looks like it is traveling away from me.
