I was stumped on how to proceed with the theme of "Narrative Sequence" until I realized that western civilization has an ancient tradition of narrative sequences in three---the triptychs that graced the altars of medieval churches. So I proceeded on some experiments with creating modern-day triptychs. This one, somewhat to my surprise, veered into a very vaguely religious direction. Interpret it as you wish.

Technical details: I used an external flash for all three photos. Otherwise the lit lightbulb was nothing but a glowing filament in my camera. The third frame was photographed through a diffraction grating I had from an old collection of science toys.
